Nokia has launched its new 41-megapixel Lumia 1020 cameraphone operating on the operating system Windows Phone.
Nokia’s newest handset places a great deal of emphasis on its photographic capabilities, as it has a second-generation sensor and a 41-megapixel camera. The new smart cameraphone will be available in black, white and yellow.
The cameraphone also will have PureView Technology that gives more detail than the natural eye can see. With the optical image stabilization, the company says the device will produce the industry’s sharpest images.
In this application, the user can review the photo or video either before or after is its shot or taped to see the quality from the settings used.
Another big feature of the Lumia 1020 is its dual capture. The feature is made to take two images simultaneously. One is a 38-megapixel shot that can be edited later, while one is a 5-megapixel shot that can be set to social media sites through the use of Windows Phone 8.
The phone also can take videos that are blur-free and that can handle levels of sound that are six times more than what microphones on conventional smartphones can handle.
Stephen Elop, the president and CEO of the company said Nokia wants users to go on a journey to capture and record their memories to share with others.
