What happened
Evolution Metals Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: EMAT) reaffirmed fiscal 2026 revenue guidance of $10 million to $11 million and fiscal 2027 guidance of $400 million to $460 million. The company said seven of its eight sintered NdFeB magnet grades are customer-certified, and N42SH is already in commercial production in Pohang, South Korea.
EMAT said the first 13 of 57 containers of ULVAC equipment have arrived in Pohang. It expects to begin acquiring equipment for SmCo magnets by mid-2027. The company also said it will respond to the U.S. Army Contracting Command's sources sought notice for rare earth magnets, due October 28, 2026.

Why it matters
OptimistFi's case is that EMAT is an option on building a domestic critical-materials recycling and processing platform, but customer pull still has to show up. This filing adds more operating proof because the company says its eight-grade portfolio represents about 75% of global sintered NdFeB revenue and about 52% of volume.
The first 13 of 57 ULVAC containers equal about 23% of the equipment. That gives investors a clear check on the buildout. EMAT says four super-high-temperature grades alone are estimated at about 49% of global sintered NdFeB revenue on 30% of volume, which helps explain the mix.
The filing says the market-share figures are company estimates, and the eighth grade, N48SH, is still in final customer certification. So one grade is still unfinished, and the market-share figures are not verified.
N42SH, the single largest grade in the global market at an estimated 23% of sintered NdFeB revenue, is already in commercial production. EMAT says the planned expansion is expected to lift annual capacity to more than 10,000 metric tons, including about 6,000 metric tons of high-performance sintered magnets.

What's next
The filing says DFARS 252.225-7052 extends its restriction on SmCo magnets on January 1, 2027, and EMAT expects to begin acquiring SmCo equipment by mid-2027. EMAT said it will respond to the Army notice by October 28, 2026.
Those dates are the next tests for whether the certification work turns into commercial scale. Faster equipment delivery would strengthen the case. More delays would weaken it.
