Aurora Mobile Conference: Record Q4 Revenue, 3rd Straight GAAP Profit as EngageLab Goes Global

Aurora Mobile (NASDAQ:JG) highlighted accelerating overseas expansion, multiple product launches, and a series of financial records in its 2025 fourth-quarter earnings presentation dated March 12, 2026. A company representative said the quarter produced “a very strong finish to the year,” citing full-year profitability and a third consecutive quarter of GAAP net income alongside record revenue metrics.

International expansion led by EngageLab

Management pointed to continued international momentum for EngageLab, which it described as the company’s “global flagship product.” During the fourth quarter, the number of customers rose 142% year-over-year and 25% quarter-over-quarter, reflecting customer acquisition across a growing set of geographies, according to the presentation.

Annual recurring revenue (ARR) for EngageLab reached a new high of $10 million in December 2025, representing 186% growth from the prior year. The company said the ARR increase supports a stronger recurring revenue foundation and improved long-term visibility.

Aurora Mobile also emphasized a broadened international customer footprint, stating that EngageLab customers now come from 70 countries and regions. Looking ahead, the company said it plans to continue expanding its global customer base and strengthen its position in overseas markets as it transitions into a more internationally diversified SaaS business.

New product launches and channel development

In the quarter, EngageLab introduced two new products. The first, LiveDesk, is built around “deep collaboration between AI agents and human agents” and is intended to help enterprises manage multi-channel customer communications, improve responsiveness, and enhance customer experience. The company described LiveDesk as an expansion beyond engagement infrastructure and into “intelligent operations.”

The second launch, EngageLab CAPTCHA, uses AI behavior analysis for bot detection. Management said it is designed to combine security with a seamless user experience, aiming to block automated abuse and protect business workflows across multiple scenarios.

Aurora Mobile also discussed new enterprise collaborations spanning several sectors, naming GP Batteries, Tuniu, HashNut, Fenbeitong, and HelloRide. The company said these partnerships support cross-industry diversification and demonstrate broad applicability for its products.

On channel development, management said Aurora Mobile established partnerships with independent software vendors (ISVs) and systems integrators (SIs) across seven countries and regions. The company’s slide cited 12 partners in Southeast Asia, four in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and one global partner, describing the network as a way to scale more efficiently overseas through local service and implementation support.

GPTBots.ai recognition

The company also highlighted third-party recognition for its AI platform, GPTBots.ai. According to the G2 Winter 2026 report referenced in the presentation, GPTBots.ai received badges including High Performer for Enterprise, Momentum Leader for Global, and Best Relationship for Global. Management said it plans to continue focusing on AI agent technology and enterprise-grade service capabilities to deliver AI transformation solutions globally.

Record Q4 financial results and full-year profitability

Aurora Mobile reported fourth-quarter total revenue of RMB 105.2 million, which management said exceeded company guidance and represented 13% year-over-year growth and 16% quarter-over-quarter growth. The company described the quarter as the highest revenue level in the past 20 quarters and a record since its transition to a pure SaaS business model.

The company organizes revenue into two pillars:

  • Developer services, including subscription and value-added services
  • Vertical applications, including market intelligence and financial risk management

Developer services subscription revenue reached a “historic high” of RMB 61.9 million, the first quarterly result above RMB 60 million, rising 13% year-over-year and 8% quarter-over-quarter. Management attributed the increase mainly to robust overseas revenue growth. Value-added services revenue increased 101% quarter-over-quarter but declined 13% year-over-year, which the company attributed largely to the timing of online shopping festivals such as 11/11 and 12/12.

Vertical applications revenue increased 31% year-over-year and 10% quarter-over-quarter, which management said was primarily driven by customer growth and higher ARPU. Within that segment, financial risk management revenue rose 43% year-over-year due to an increase in customer numbers.

Profitability and cash metrics also set records. Gross profit increased 23% year-over-year and 9% quarter-over-quarter to RMB 69.7 million, the highest in the past 16 quarters. Gross margin was 66.3%, up 540 basis points year-over-year. Deferred revenue reached RMB 178.7 million, an all-time high, which management linked to strong customer prepayments, demand, and revenue visibility. Operating cash inflow was RMB 35.1 million, the highest in the past 22 quarters.

Management said 2025 marked the company’s first year of full-year profitability, supported by revenue growth, customer-base expansion, and operating expenses “maintained at an optimal level.” The fourth quarter was also the company’s third consecutive quarter of U.S. GAAP profitability, which the presentation characterized as evidence of consistency.

Balance sheet and reporting notes

Aurora Mobile reported accounts receivable turnover days of 37 days, the best level in the past two years. As of December 31, 2025, cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash, and short-term investments totaled RMB 173.4 million. The company also reported net dollar retention for developer services subscription of 103%.

The presentation noted that Aurora Mobile uses non-GAAP measures such as adjusted net income/loss and adjusted EBITDA as supplemental performance tools, while emphasizing they should not be viewed as substitutes for GAAP results. Management also reiterated that the presentation included forward-looking statements under Safe Harbor provisions and encouraged investors to review SEC filings for related risk disclosures.

Concluding the update, the company representative said the fourth quarter “capped off a year of strong execution,” citing international growth, product expansion, record performance metrics, and full-year profitability.
