Anti-Jihad Advertisement to be on display next week

The highly provocative ad that implies that some Muslims who are radical are also savages will start appearing in New York City on Monday. The ad will start only two weeks after violent protests at diplomatic missions of the United States killed four Americans in the Middle East. The protests were due to an anti-Islam film that depicted Muhammad as a womanizer, child abuser and fraud.

A conservative blogger was able to win a court order allowing her to post the controversial ads starting on September 24. The ad will appear for a month in ten different subway stations throughout New York City. At one time, the blogger was in charge of a campaign that fought against the construction of an Islamic Center located close to where “ground zero” is in Manhattan.

The same ads appeared recently on buses in the city of San Francisco and said that in wars between civilized man and savages, it is best to support civilized man as well as Israel and defeat the Jihad.

In San Francisco, some ads on the city’s buses were defaced and wording such as Jihad, were removed. The blogger filed her lawsuit in Washington so she could have the ads up by Monday. A rider on the subway, who asked to remain anonymous, said he was an observant Muslim and believes the ads will make the majority of Muslims uncomfortable.

Authorities in New York City said that no additional security would be put in place in the different stations. The officials also said that no organization or individual had threatened the city about the provocative ad. The ads are scheduled to run for approximately one month.
