80's movie star Demi Moore was admitted in the hospital for exhaustion.
January 25, 2012- Actress Demi Moore was admitted to a hospital for a brief period on Monday to get an assessment of her health. Paramedics had responded to a 911 call placed at her home in Los Angeles earlier the same day.
There have been two reports circulating as to why the Ghost actress was having medical problems. One source said she had been treated and released for substance abuse while another source said the actress was exhausted because of all the personal issues she has had to deal with recently.
In a statement Moore’s rep said, “The stresses she has been facing in her life have caused her to seek assistance of a professional nature to help with her exhaustion and to improve her health overall.”
Moore has had to endure an emotional and public separation from Ashton Kutcher and many feel that is the main reason for her stress and emotional fallout. She announced her breakup back in November by saying, “With a heavy heart and sadness, I have decided to end our marriage.”
Moore announced in early January that she would play Gloria Steinem the feminist icon in a movie about Linda Lovelace the adult film star. However, her rep has said that due to her recent setback she will not be playing the role of Steinem in the film.
