Kardashian Girls Sign Mega Deal

Fans of the Kardashians will be happy to know they will continue to see the family on reality TV on the E! Network. The network announced it had signed a contract for $40 million for three seasons for the show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

The mega million-dollar deal makes the show the richest in the history of reality TV. The family members, sisters – Kourtney, Kim and Khloe – and parents Bruce and Kris Jenner will earn the same pay and most of the money will go to the family.

Other stars on the show such as Kylie, Kendall and Rob will get equal pay, but less than all the others. Scott Disick and his son Mason, as well as Lamar Odom, Khloe’s husband will also pocket individual fees.

There is no word if new beau Kanye West will appear on the show with Kim or if they might cut a separate deal of their own for another spinoff. The Kardashians have turned into a family of spinoffs. Of all the shows broadcast on the E! network, five of the most watched have been programs starring the Kardashians.

The finale for season 6 attracted over 3.3 million viewers. It had similar audience figures throughout the entire season. It was the network’s most popular show. The family has earned millions from its brand.

The largest one time take has been Kim’s wedding. Kim and her Kardashian family members are estimated to have earned over $18 million from the wedding, including over $2.5 million just for People magazine’s exclusive rights to shoot photos. In addition, they also earned a separate $15 from E! for a televised special of four hours. Season 7 will start May 20.
