Juniper Networks Receives Neutral Rating from Zacks (JNPR)

Zacks reaffirmed their neutral rating on shares of Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR) in a research note released on Friday morning. They currently have a $22.00 price target on the stock.

Zacks’ analyst wrote, “Juniper is a leading provider of networking devices and technology. The company delivered decent fourth quarter 2012 results, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate on the bottom line. However, year over year comparisons were not too encouraging. The cash position is also reason for concern while the debt level remains constant. But we are positive about Juniper’s new product traction, focus on revenue growth, cost reduction initiatives specially aided by reducing headcount and improving execution on supply chain and procurement activities. This apart, the company faces stiff competition from F5 Networks, Cisco Systems and Alcatel-Lucent. We believe that Juniper is well-positioned in the networking space and could capitalize on much of the worldwide spending on information technology. The company has a Neutral recommendation. “

Shares of Juniper Networks traded down 0.57% during mid-day trading on Friday, hitting $20.77. Juniper Networks has a one year low of $14.01 and a one year high of $23.06. The stock’s 50-day moving average is currently $21.45. The company has a market cap of $10.581 billion and a P/E ratio of 59.69.
