The Federal Aviation Administration said on Wednesday it feels that space tourism will exceed $1 billion within the next 10 years. An earthquake measuring 7.4 hit Mexico just after noon local time on Tuesday. The epicenter of the quake was located in the state of Guerrero near the Pacific coast in the central region of the country. Cisco Announces $5 Billion Purchase (NASDAQ:CSCO)

Cisco Systems Inc. has announced that it is buying digital video technology company NDS Group Ltd. for about $4 billion and paying off $1 billion of debt owed by NDS.  NDS is based in the United Kingdom and is jointly owned by News Corp. and Permira, a private equity firm.  The boards of both companies have approved the deal. Cathay Pacific Reports Profits Down by 61% in 2011 (CPCAY)

Cathay Pacific Airway’ LTD’s (OP: CPCAY) 2011 net profit dropped 61% due to the rising cost of fuel and softer demand for the company’s freight services. Adobe Systems Inc. the world’s largest graphic design software maker has forecasted for lower than estimated profit as it increases spending for marketing and sales and adds a new subscription-pricing approach.
