“We continue to believe ANN has several company specific initiatives to help them works toward at least 10% EBIT margins including: 1) an ongoing mix shift driven by expansion of the accretive factory/outlet channel, 2) continued growth in ecommerce penetration and a significant emphasis placed on the multi-channel opportunity (should benefit from recent systems upgrades and pooled inventory initiative), and 3) store remodel program that has driven in excess of 50% productivity per box. However, we remain sidelined on shares as we await greater visibility on the company’s ability to return to prior topline levels as they make the necessary changes to the merchandise assortment.,” the firm’s analyst wrote.

Shares of Ann Taylor (NYSE: ANN) opened at 30.81 on Friday. Ann Taylor has a one year low of $23.93 and a one year high of $39.78. The stock’s 50-day moving average is currently $29.50. The company has a market cap of $1.415 billion and a P/E ratio of 14.65.
